Proper Welsh Milk...
what's all the fuss?

Most of the milk we drink here in Wales is Welsh, but (and it’s a BIG but), almost all of it leaves Wales to be bottled in large “super dairies” in the English West Midlands, or down in the West Country, before returning to Wales. This huge trip adds loads of unnecessary miles to the milk’s journey, as well as delaying the milk’s arrival to your local shop.

Here at the Proper Welsh Milk Company we want to reduce the distance our milk travels from our cows... in short “it’s not for export!”

There is nothing better than Proper Welsh Milk from Welsh cows, grazed on Welsh grass, in… well, Wales of course. Wales is at the very heart of everything we do here at Proper Welsh Milk. Our milk comes from Welsh family farms close to our dairy in Whitland on the Carmarthenshire / Pembrokeshire border, and its bottled right here in the new dairy, meaning that this milk has travelled fewer miles than almost any other pint of milk you’ve drunk recently, helping you to reduce your carbon footprint, while we reduce our carbon hoof print!
